Fully refurbished with stunning views
The house was previously known as ‘The Professional’s House’ and was the last property to be sold by the golf club. It sits on the stunning golf course, although you do not need to be a golfer to enjoy the space. It has been refurbished to a high standard with brand new beds and appliances for 2024.

Dogs love Newport. We love dogs (so much so, that the house is named after our dog Peggy) and welcome dogs at Peg-y-Don. Please be considerate of other guests in the property but we want Fido to enjoy his stay as much as you do.

Well what can I say! Absolutely amazing place to spend your holiday. Beautiful house with fantastic views of the sea. Sunsets every shade of orange and red. Eva our dog also had an incredible time with the beach on the doorstep. Loved it so much got home and immediately booked a return visit for next year.

Stunning! I thought the cottage and location looked great online but the reality was even better … it was perfect! A gorgeous spacious well equiped house, views were amazing and a very short walk to the beach. A lovely stay enjoyed by myself, my two dogs and even my 91 year old dad who loved sitting in the sun and watching the golfers. We’ll be back!

This is a really lovely house with one of the best locations of anywhere I have stayed. The views across the bay are simply fantastic and you can walk down to the beach or into Newport really easily. The house is lovely – great for small groups and close to the Cat Rock Cafe and has everything you want and you can just sit and watch the breakers or the weather rushing in, and there are lovely walks nearby. Great place – hadn’t realised how nice Newport was, despite coming to west wales for the past 25 years. We’ll be back…
