Phew, what a scorcher

A visual post of a magical week in Newport.

We struck gold with the weather last week.

We are generally very lucky with the weather in Newport, although have always maintained that the micro-climate means that you can pretty much ignore the (typically pessimistic) weather forecast, but it really was a vintage week with glorious, warm sunshine to add the extra sparkle to time spent in Newport.

The trip was supposed to be an early summer ‘house jobs’ (and A-level revision!) mission, so having this on your doorstep was a massive distraction:

We wanted to share a few snaps from our week in Newport to give you a flavour of what you can expect from a trip if you are considering visiting Newport.
